GROWS TO 2-3M HEIGHT X 2-3M WIDTH

Prunus ?Kiku-shidare-zakura?

A great, grafted variety of Cherry.  The pendulous branches go upright a little then hang down gracefully from the graft which is grafted onto a 1.2 or 1.8m standard, which means the trunk will never grow taller than 1.2 or 1.8m with just the branches going up and then hanging down.

Young leaves are a reddish-bronze colour, becoming green when mature.  Autumn foliage is in shades of yellow, orange and scarlet.Wonderful rosy-pink blossoms in large clusters are borne early to mid spring giving a wonderful display. One of the later flowering of the weeping cherries.

Usage

An excellent feature for any garden. Great planted alone or in pairs on either side of a path/garden. Great for smaller gardens, lawn specimens or for general landscape use.CommentsGrow in a full sun to partly shaded position in well-drained soil. Cherries do not like sitting in boggy/wet areas. Mix through some old compost/cow manure and mulch well after planting.
