A bulbous perennial plant forming mounds of grey-green leaves that are edged with cream.  Leaves have a garlic-like odour.  In the warmer months clusters of dainty, pinkish mauve flowers are carried on slender stems.  Ideal for edging borders, in rockeries, cottage gardens and containers.  Grow in a sunny, open position in moist, well drained soil.  Tolerant of light frost.  Apply slow release fertilser in spring and keep soil moist when plant is actively growing.
