A useful and attractive prostrate shrub with semi-succulent leaves and masses of small white, star-shaped flowers that appear in summer.  Excellent ground cover that does well in a wide range of soil types.  Tolerant of a wide range of soils and conditions provied the soilis well drained.  Woody stems may be cut back in winter to encourage new growth.
