Evergreen, perennial with neat clumps of strappy foliage and heads of bell-shaped, pink flowers in summer.  Ideal for shady borders, garden edging, containers and mass planting.  Grows best in a partly shaded, moist, well drained position but tolerates a wide range of sites and conditions including sun, dry spells and frost.  Protect from snails and trim back old foliage in early spring if required.
