Leucadendrons is a genus of about 80 species of flowering plants in the family Proteaceae. They are in the Proteaceae family like Waratahs, Banksias and Grevilleas. 

 

Description:

An outstanding, compact, evergreen small shrub with bright clean yellow bracts that are borne on vigorous long stems during winter and spring.

Cultural:

Prefers sunny position in well-drained soil. Will tolerate frost, coastal and dry conditions. Prune as desired and fertilise with a long-term slow release fertiliser in late winter.
