Highly decorative, slow growing palm with large, fan-shaped, glossy leaves atop multiple fibrous stems.  An ideal houseplant for cooler climates, and grows well in sheltered positions outdoors in tropical climates.  Repot when suckers fill pot.  Allow to dry slightly between waterings and apply quality fertiliser regularly.
