A medium to tall, extremely narrow, columnar bush with blue grey foliage.  One of the narrowest of all conifers.  The name aptly describes the habit of this popular plant, quite a rapid grower.  A versatile conifer that is well suited to large tubs, garden beds, specimen planting and formal gardens where the strong vertical form can be most appreciated.  Requires a well drained soil in a sunny location.  Fertilise in early spring and mulch to conserve soil moisture.
