A hardy, evergreen, spreading compact shrub growing to a height of around 30cm and spreading to around 90cm.  Over summer, an abundance of soft pink flowers nestle on a backdrop of healthy fleshy foliage, flushed bronze, intensifying in winter.  First Light's disease and cold hardiness makes it a perfect addition to any garden.  This plant is ideal for small bordrs or hedges and mass planting.  Prefers a sunny position in well-drained soil, prune after flowering  and fertilise with a long-term slow release fertiliser.
