Evergreen perennial forming clumps of narrow dark green leaves.  Iris-like flowers with yellow and mauve markings appear in spring and summer.  Ideal for mass planting and under trees, in rockeries or near water features.  Grow ina sunny to partly shaded position in moist, well drained soil.  Cut off spent flowering stems and divide clumps when necessary.
