Elegant, slow growing palm with a slender, grey trunk, crowned by spreading, feathery looking fronds.  Thrives outdoors in filtered light and warm, humid conditions.  Best grown indoors in cooler areas.  Keep moist but not wet.  Feed regularly with a high nitrogen fertiliser.  An ideal tub specimen for patios and indoors.
