An evergreen climber which bears masses of small, white or creamy flowers during spring.  Choose a sunny to partly shaded position and moist, well drained soil.  Tolerates a wide range of soils but requires good drainage.  Create a cool root zone by providing shade or using organic matter, gravel or large stones to cover the root zone.  Keep moist especially in hot, dry weather.  Pruning is not necessary but light pruning will make plant more compact.  Feed fortnightly with all purpose fertiliser or tomato and vegetable fertiliser from onset of growth in spring until mid summer.
